]]> Join us on Sunday, May 31st at Shalimar Golf Club for the inaugural “Holy Nine” 9 Hole Skins Game! The event is an individual gross skins game played within flights (A/B/C).

As most of you already know, I am part of a new management team at Shalimar Golf Club and we are in the process of making Shalimar the best 9 hole family friendly golf course in the valley. You might be thinking to yourself, “Shalimar? Isn’t that a goat track?” Yeah, but you know what? IT’S MY GOAT TRACK NOW!

Although the course is still a work in progress (there has been a lot of deferred maintenance before we took over), our greens are in the best shape that it’s ever been in a very long time. I just want you guys to come out and see the course and let me know what you think.

Shalimar might only be 9 holes with small greens (6 par 4s and 3 par 3s), but I think this course has a lot of potential and I am hoping you all will see it for more than that: A fun place to take your family, to play stress free golf, work on your short game and enjoy other amenities we have to offer (free cornhole). We also have live music and cornhole tournaments on the weekends and much more to come!

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

The Premier Golf Club adheres to a NO REFUND POLICY. A tournament credit may be issued if cancelled within the advised 24 hour window (see below).

All player bookings for this event must be cancelled directly with the Tournament Director no later than 24 hours prior to day of play. If your reservation is NOT CANCELLED by this time OR you are a "no show", you will forfeit your tournament fee and you will not be eligible for a tournament credit*. If you cancel reservation within the 24 hour window, you will receive a credit for the the next tournament you play in.

*Per our agreement with the golf course, we must guarantee a certain amount of golfers at the time of the event. This "final player count" is given to the course 24 hours before the start of the event. If we do not meet the agreed player count on the day of the event, the golf course has the right to charge us for any missing players. Therefore, if you cancel after the mandatory cancellation period, your fee will be forfeited and a tournament credit will not be issued.

FORMAT:
Two-person scramble played at gross or net within flights. All TEAM HANDICAPS will be determined by taking 40% of total team course handicap . All FLIGHTS will be determined by total team handicap index. The maximum difference in handicap index is 10 strokes but if members want to enter with a partner whose handicap is more than this difference, the higher handicap will be adjusted downward.

Players may select a MAXIMUM of 3 clubs for use during the competition. These 3 clubs are the only clubs which may be in the bag, and they may not be exchanged for any other clubs during the stipulated round.

    HOW IT WORKS
    – Everyone starts off w/ 5 free cards!
    – Earn 1 card for every par
    – Earn 2 cards for every birdie
    – Earn 3 cards for every eagle

    At the end of the round, you draw the amount of cards you earned on the course and create the best 5 card poker hand! The best hand wins! Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd best poker hands!

    ]]>     Join us on Saturday, September 27th at Colorado National Golf Club for the Premier Golf Club 2man Scramble Tournament presented by the PGA TOUR Superstore! The event is a two-person scramble, played at gross and net within flights. Prizes will be awarded to top flight winners along with closest-to-the-pin prizes!

    This will be a great opportunity for you to mix and mingle with other golfers while enjoying the camaraderie associated with tournament golf.

    FORMAT:

    Two-person scramble played at gross or net within flights. All TEAM HANDICAPS will be determined by taking 40% of total team course handicap . All FLIGHTS will be determined by total team handicap index. The maximum difference in handicap index is 10 strokes but if members want to enter with a partner whose handicap is more than this difference, the higher handicap will be adjusted downward.

    If you don't have a handicap, don't worry! You can play for fun! However, a verifiable USGA handicap is required if you are participating in the prize fund ($40 per team). An optional flighted team skins game will also be available on the day of the event. Both the team prize fund and team skins game will be collected at check-in (cash only).
