    ***ALL ELIGIBLE PLAYERS WILL BE USING THEIR PREMIER GOLF TOURNAMENT INDEX INSTEAD OF GHIN. VIEW TOURNAMENT INDEX FAQ. If you are playing for the first time in our tournament with an existing GHIN index outside of Premier Golf Club or with another USGA handicapping service, you will receive 80% of your handicap index until you fulfill your 3 round requirement to establish an official PGC tournament index.***

    There is an optional $20 prize fund buy-in and $20 flighted skins game for each event. BOTH THE PRIZE FUND AND SKINS GAME will be collected at check-in (cash only).

    By contributing to the prize fund, you will become eligible to win Net/Gross prizes for 1st, 2nd (by flight) and Closest-to-Pin. Valid USGA Handicap required to participate.

    PAYOUTS & AMATEUR STATUS: We do pay cash prizes for gross/net competition and skins. By receiving a cash prize, you will be forfeiting your amateur status (Rule 3-1).

    Please provide your GHIN # or instructions on how to verify your golf handicap when you register. If you would like to request to play with a certain player or group, use the “Additional Information – Order Notes” field when you checkout.

 

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

The Premier Golf Club adheres to a NO REFUND POLICY. A tournament credit may be issued if cancelled within the advised 24 hour window (see below).

All player bookings for this event must be cancelled directly with the Tournament Director no later than 24 hours prior to day of play. If your reservation is NOT CANCELLED by this time OR you are a “no show”, you will forfeit your tournament fee and you will not be eligible for a tournament credit*. If you cancel reservation within the 24 hour window, you will receive a credit for the the next tournament you play in.

*Per our agreement with the golf course, we must guarantee a certain amount of golfers at the time of the event. This “final player count” is given to the course 24 hours before the start of the event. If we do not meet the agreed player count on the day of the event, the golf course has the right to charge us for any missing players. Therefore, if you cancel after the mandatory cancellation period, your fee will be forfeited and a tournament credit will not be issued.

Product Description

Join us on Saturday, December 14th at Superstition Springs Golf Club for the Premier Golf Club Championship Tournament! The event is an individual stroke play tournament, played at gross and net within flights. Prizes will be awarded to the top three gross and net winners in each flight. There is also an optional gross/net skins game by flight.

For those who are ranked among the top 72 at the end of the Lone Tree Tournament on Sunday, Nov. 24th, 2019, you automatically qualify for the PGC Championship on Saturday, December 14th at Superstition Springs where your $20 skins entry will be matched (so everyone will be playing with a bigger skins pot) and you will also have the opportunity to play for additional cash prizes!

TOP 72 POINT QUALIFIERS:

  • Your $20 skins entry will be automatically MATCHED for a DOUBLE SKINS POT
  • Qualify for bonus cash prizes
  • Same $20 prize fund buy in

OUTSIDE TOP 72:

  • Player must pay $40 to get into the skins game
  • Player will not qualify for bonus cash prizes
  • Same $20 prize fund buy in

HOW THE PGC CHAMPIONSHIP WORKS:

  • There will still a $20 prize fund buy-in for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place GROSS & NET
  • Gross/Net skins game is worth $40
  • On tournament day, all player points will be reduced to zero
  • Earn points by getting into the prize fund and skins game
  • Earn additional points by placing in your flight and winning gross and net skins
  • THE TOP 3 POINT FINISHERS* will earn additional cash from the remaining rolling prize pot
    • 1st – 44% of assigned championship pot (TBD)
    • 2nd – 32%
    • 3rd – 24%

*TIE BREAKER FOR TOP 3 POINT FINISHERS IN PGC CHAMPIONSHIP:
Same tie breaker will be used from the regular season top point finishers (see above). Ex) If there is a 4 way tie for 2nd place, the prize money for 2nd and 3rd will be combined and divided by the players tied for 2nd.
